The Problem

Badly cracked basement slab to existing home requiring extensive repair, partially caused by drainage issues.

The Solution

The slab was totally ground back to reveal the extent of the damage. The cracks were then cut, stitched with helical ties and sealed with resin/grout. A penetrating sealer was then applied over the slab as a base coat. The storm water pipe drainage issue was rectified and replaced, with reinforcements applied around perimeter of upstand and slab, and a first coat of waterproofing was applied extending up the wall seams. Following this a second coat of water proofing was applied.
